I’m John knowles, here in New York City, talking to you from the RSPop[+] popup shop at the Roger Smith Hotel.
We’re launching a new popup called Roger Smith Radio and Media Lounge for the Month of January and February 2013.
A bit about RSPop[+]
Just about a year ago, I’d taken over another storefront on Lexington avenue. The space sits between RSPop and the then Lab Gallery.
RSPop[+]
Is an extension of the RSPop concept which consists of the use a space being paired with media and marketing services, RSPop [+] looks to connect your experience with a network. The [+]network is a network of connected individuals who are looking to help make connections that will enhance your experience.
We’re working within a radio format to bring you conversations on inspired ideas.
As I sit in the window, I look to reflect on the year of 12 and enter into 13 with a fresh outlook. At the end of 11, I was looking to connect the dots of an advanced media strategy with a social focus, using shareable content to build and improve relationships. Over the year we also looked to connect our media strategy with new business objectives.
Its a new year and I’m better off from what I’ve learned and done. Can’t go back. The moment of truth is in the here and now.
I know now that we can visualize, create a roadmap and manifest our ideas.
Over the next two months I’ll look to discuss Roger Smith Hotel related topics of sales and marketing, media strategies, RSLearning and other inspired topics.
We’ll be inviting people in to engage in conversation and I look forward to building exciting dialog.
